How can I get one of these in PC single-player mode? I’ve heard that they just spawn in players’ garages in the console versions, but in the PC version, the only way to get an Osiris seems to be to purchase it for $1.9 million from luxurymotorsports.net. This is a problem, because despite my best efforts to complete missions, rob armored trucks, and play the stock market, my richest character only has about $200K. Any pointers?

Be patient. By the end of story mode you will have amassed $10m

Get a Trainer. Then you can spawn in any car you like.

Since it is single player, you can always mod cash in or use a trainer to spawn it. If you want to do it legit, then you will have to keep going through the singleplayer.

Lester’s assassination missions with franklin, and gamble the stockmarket like lester hints/tells you to. Should easily net you a boat load of cash extra.

Now you’ve piqued my interest. How do I mod cash in? Also not familiar with the trainer, but I’m sure I can Google it.

This. I completed those after completing the main story of the game. All three characters have over $250,000,000 each.
Also, the Pegassi is not worth the money. The Adder is much faster and more controllable...Turismo R is also quite nice.

I agree the adder is a buggati and the Turismo R is a LaFerrari. I personally likle the Turismo R more then the adder. He just needs to finish the main quests and he will have enough money to buy 10 of each of these.

Now that I've looked it up, it seems that cheat engine is the only way to mod in money. However, I wouldn't suggest using it since it looks really sketchy. I'd use a trainer instead to just spawn the car in or finish the storyline using cheats. It took me around 8 hours to finish it with cheats.

Did you complete the whole story? “The Big Score” nets each character about 30 million. Then if you’ve saved your Lester missions, that quickly turns into about 50 million.

If you want the in game cool cars, prepare to make them garage queens, unless you can buy a dozen of them. The PC version tends to *delete* single player cars outside the hero cars (the Mustang look-a-like for Franklin, the Jeep Wrangler-crossed-with-Defender thingie for Trevor and the Audi-y sedan for Michael) if you don’t park them in your own property. So you are left two choices: earning cash legit, or trainers.
One particular “trainer” took some coercing to work properly for single player, and at some point past 30 minutes of gameplay the game threw a fit saying the “game files were corrupted”. If you manage to get ligon trainer (oops) working, you just type how much money you want, something like 200,000,000, and save your game immediately after it. (The most expensive property in all the game is the Golf Club, that can be bought only by Michael, costs 150,000,000, so you don’t even need more.)
The legit way is a bit more convoluted.
[TL;DR] You can speed up gametime in a legit fashion and wait for the income on purchasable properties, accesing the save menu.
You should buy all properties that generate revenue. The cheapest one begins at 75,000. Bars, the custom car shop for Franklin (free car mods!), they all generate income after one week in GTA gametime, that time you see on their cellphones. To speed in-game time, just hit the bunk bed (the save menu) and leave it without necessarily saving, the game time will roll 6, 8, or 12 hours, depending on which character you are. (It seems there is an in-universe explanation for this difference, according to GTA wiki: Trevor, being a meth addicted sociopath that he is, tends to sleep 12 hours straight because of the drugs.)
[TL;DR]
But, back on topic: just accessing the save menu rolls time, and at midnight from sunday to monday, the money drips in. So, you buy all the properties that you can, switch to Trevor, and hit the sleep-save to roll a week. Rinse and repeat.
The car spawn points was randomized from the console versions to the PC version, so it is a bit of hit and miss getting those youtube videos right. To be sure, the best way is to actually buy the car, by blowing armored trucks, and doing heists and rolling time. And, if by any chance you leave your car on the single player mission anywhere but your own garage , it WILL be impounded and will cost GTA$ 250 to get it out from the cops, but it doesn’t just disappear... mostly. If it is gone, reload your save. Yes, save scumming is back! Buy the car and save the game, pronto!
If you actually manage to find the car, hurry to a mod shop, get it resprayed (just in case) and at least enter one garage in your property, then save the game .

If you spend a minimum and leave those to the very end your characters can end up with about 2.1 billion each.

Jk
But you summed it up pretty well. Despite all the hours I have, I didn’t even know that each character had their own sleeping patterns.

I get verborragic sometimes, so I try going for tl;dr as often as possible...
But basically, Rockstar said that there was no fucks given if a player cheats on the single player game , so if the dude wants the car, he should “ Captain Kirk” his way to get it.
I tried the “sleeping trick” myself, but just the loading screens on my PC took 90 seconds each time, and it would take for God damn fucking ever to have enough money.
Trainer it is. Oh, so satisfying.

For the record, you’ll be better off installing a hook and a native trainer than using an external trainer. Never have any issues, since it just uses functions within the game already. Also allows some easy mods, like one that makes DLC cars (like the Osiris) be actually used in singleplayer, both by NPCs and as a parked vehicle.

The hook and native trainer work well, but I got booted from online play just for having them loaded and TURNED OFF. I mean, do I have to keep copying files back and forth just to play online? I don’t want to spoil other people’s games, but I don’t want the hassle of copying files over and over.
Meanwhile some jerks on the online play managed to get the suicidal bombing working... everybody on the same session as the dude just blows up, as if they had a sticky bomb strapped to them. Passive mode rules in this case, as everybody around you is launched 10 feet in the air and land in a pool of blood, and you survive.

Yeah, have to rename/move/delete the hook file(s) themselves each time (dinput8.dll and/or dsound.dll). You don’t have to do anything to the others, though, since they won’t run without the above files.
